The Mad Scientist Association
The Mad Scientist Association is a group of DFIR professionals dedicated to research and development to benefit the entire community. Our projects are based on derived from real-world forensic investigations, keeping us focused on issues relevant to the community.
Our areas of focus include:
- Investigation of digital artifacts to improve understanding and usefulness in forensic examinations
- Development of open-source tools to assist in forensic examinations and analysis
All projects and publications are distributed with open-source licenses.
